Financial Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry / Accounting Clerk for our client in Colorado Springs, CO. Description of the Position

The Data Entry / Accounting Clerk will be responsible for entering a high volume of invoices into QuickBooks while maintaining a strong level of speed and accuracy. This position will also provide support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and help maintain accurate, organized accounting records.

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80907

Office Setting: On-Site

Monday – Friday
Typical office hours are between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. or 9:00AM - 3:00PM

Compensation

$25.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Enter a high volume of invoices into QuickBooks with speed and accuracy
• Review invoice information for completeness and identify discrepancies
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed
• Ensure documentation is properly entered, filed, and easily accessible
• Communicate questions, discrepancies, and inconsistencies promptly to appropriate team members

What Will Get This Done / Requirements

• 2+ years of data entry experience
• Ability to manage a high volume of data entry while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• 1–2 years of transactional accounting experience, including Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning accounting systems and technology
• QuickBooks experience is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive, collaborative, and engaging personality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willing and able to work on-site in Colorado Springs, CO
